To My Godmother… Auntie, you smile, personality, demeanor and so much more will forever be missed! An item/memory I will forever cherish is the letter you wrote for me when I was fighting for life after my accident. I’ve thought about your wording from your letter for years, and still do, as it was one of my building blocks I use to help my recovery to myself today.

Thanks for everything, every minute you took to teach me, to hear me. I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet you, see how you managed your process to the eternity. In my heart I wish I can see you next Monday, but I know you are now in the presence of God. Not to worry anymore about numbers, but to look at all of us. I pray for your family to be at peace with God decision to take you to be with him.

My amazing auntie, your big contagious smile seems to have touched everyone you met. I will always remember being a kid in New York when we would go to Jamica ave and the fleamarket you'd give me and Anthony money to do our own shopping teaching us those valuable lessons about life and the that feeling of acomplishment of finding a good deal on a cool find. Our last trip to that jewelry store in St Maarteen where we talked those guys down to an amazing deal on that beautiful bracelet you wanted was a great "yes!" moment by the time we walked out of there. I will never forget how happy we were. Even though you were sick you never let that stop you from being your always great self. You always gave me good advice and was always opened minded. I will always cherish our laughs smiles over the years and teaching me family values and pride in self. Thank u for being you and I will see you again one day in heaven. Love you alway and I will miss you forever.

I did not know Marcia very well. I would see her here and there at work. But whenever I did, she always had a smile on her face and carried herself with dignity. My prayers and sincerest condolences go out to her family. May God bless you and bring you comfort.

I knew Marcia when were in middle school.We both grew up on Long Island New York.Marcia was a very sweet and kind person.We met in the hallway in school one day and when she spoke to me she had the most beautiful English accent I had ever heard.We became fast friends and were very close.We were also neighbors because we lived across the street from each other.I was thinking about her and stumbled upon her obituary.I am very saddened to learn of her passing. My condolences to her family.
