Obituary of Carl "Corky" Martin Clausen III
Carl "Corky" Martin Clausen III passed away on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022, at the age of 75.
Born to parents Carl Martin Clausen, Jr. and Betty Lutie Clausen on March 11, 1947, in Penns Grove, New Jersey. Both of his parents have predeceased him.
He is also predeceased by his loving wife of 34+ years, Mary H. Clausen.
Carl "Corky" is survived by his siblings Lutie Clausen and James Clausen.
He is also survived by his children James R. Clausen, Carl M. Clausen IV, Donald W. Clausen, Katherine M. Von Deck, and Thomas J. Clausen as well as their spouses and his grandchildren.
He was a remarkable husband, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, Marine Corp veteran, and good friend to many.
Carl served in the Marine Corp for 4 years and fought in the Vietnam War. He also worked and retired from Code Enforcement in Palm Bay, as well as security at Eastern Florida State College.
Carl was an amazing person and his loss is felt by so many. He loved his family and friends and it was a privilege and blessing to love him and to be loved by him. He loved movies, especially about cowboys, mountains, and movies from his youth. He enjoyed hunting, cooking, and eating delicious food (like his famous homemade pizza and soups), fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
The family will receive friends at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care – Palm Bay on September 11, 2022, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on September 11, 2022, at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care – Palm Bay with Father Tony Welle officiating.
