I had the opportunity to work with Carl at the City of Palm Bay Code Enforcement Division, starting in the late 1980's for some 20 years. HIs positive attitude, sense of humor, caring and outgoing personality towards all that he came in contact with is what I remember best about him. He and his team would hold big potluck type meals at their offices and invite all...... and he could cook!
Later after he left the City, I learned that he and Mary helped take care of Ken Jacques, one of Palm Bay's first code officers, when he was sick.
Avid sportsman that he was, he always shared his stories about hunting up in Michigan(or near there) for deer, etc. and fishing in Brevard County.
A pleasure to have known him and Mary and he will be missed!
