Jo was such a beautiful and kind person. She had a sweet spirit and was an example of the hospitality of the Lord. I enjoyed my visits with John and Jo in Florida and in Fort Blackmore, VA. I was blessed to be their pastor for nine years. My condolences and prayers of comfort to her dear family. Rev. Jackie McGowan

One of the best Aunts anyone could ever want. She always made us feel just like we were at home. I have so many memories of my time with her, Uncle John, and my cousins, Tim and Mary. We were a lot for any mom to keep up with especially her. She loved us like we were her own. You will be missed dearly. Momma and I miss coming over every morning and spending time with you. I love you Aunt Jo. RIP

Aunt Jo, words cannot express how much I will miss you. Over the years you were like a second Mom to me, someone I could turn to when I needed a shoulder to cry on. You always welcomed me in your home even after I had my own family. I have so many memories of visiting your home, spending time with you, Uncle John, Tim and Mary. I’ll cherish these memories for the rest of my life. Till we see each other again, all my love. Jeri
