Obituary of Tina Louise McGann
The world lost a beloved wife, mother, Guppy and friend on October 9, 2021, in her home surrounded by her family. She bravely battled an aggressive cancer over the last year. Throughout her journey, it never stopped her from doing what she loved the most - spending time with her loving husband John of 35 years, their sons John (Brittany) and Jim (Amanda), as well as her 3 granddaughters, Blake, Kaia and Evie, of John and Brittany, and her granddog, Bodhi, of Jim and Amanda. Her fourth granddaughter, Makenna, of Jim and Amanda, is expected in late October.
Tina was born in Goshen, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Jane Yoder, and is survived by her older sister Susan of Melbourne, FL. Tina relocated to Florida in 1986 where she met her husband John. John’s career took them to Michigan for a short stint before returning to the Melbourne area where they settled and started their family before relocating to Satellite Beach.
Tina is best known for her infectious laughter, smile, and famous deviled eggs. She loved enjoying the sunshine, pool, boating, watching every rocket launch possible, and capturing any sunset anywhere. She could be found baking cupcakes and cookies with her granddaughters, babysitting her granddog Bodhi or spending time with family and friends.
Tina left an everlasting legacy and an irreplaceable void of love, laughter, compassion, and friendship in everyone she knew. She will be dearly missed by all and her memory will never be forgotten. Her spirit will live on and we know that she will continue to do what she did best by continuing to look over all of those she loved.
A celebration of her beautiful life will be held at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Health First Hospice in her honor.
