I was sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was my Big Brother in Phi Delta Theta. We both enjoyed golfing. I can still recall several of his memorable shots from times we played at Fox Den in Stow and Valley View in Akron.
During one of his vacations trips, Jim dropped in on us shortly after we had moved to the Greenville area in South Carolina. He wanted us to go along for what was to be a quick 1/2 day side-trip to see some sites around Caesars Head Park in the mountains just north of Greenville. We did - but somehow we got sidetracked and went further up into the mountains over the state line in North Carolina. A snow storm unexpectedly came up making our return to sunny South Carolina impossible. We had to find some last minute lodging and food supplies for the night.
We visited him a time or two after he had first moved to Florida. He had several of his photographs decorating the walls in his home. Many were quit beautiful.
Jim will be missed.
