I am so sad to learn of Frank's passing. Frank was one of those people who makes a big impression on you, + causes you to smile whenever you think of him. I worked for Frank in Taiwan in the '70s. I was there on my first USAF assignment, a very young, immature airman. Frank mentored me + my friend, Julie; he was a dad, big brother, + best friend all rolled into one caring person. We stayed in touch for a little while, back when people still wrote letters to each other. I attempted a few times over the years to reconnect, but - even with the recent aid of the internet - I didn't find good contact info for him. Frank was larger than life, + really helped guide the young, naive version of me ... I'm a much better person for having known him. My condolences to his family + other friends on the loss of the wonderful Frank.
