Mr. Bynum was a very kind and thoughtful man. When he would come in to the barber shop I work at (and I was lucky enough to cut his hair that day) he would always greet me by name, ask me how I was and ask about my daughter. He was a true gentleman! He will be missed!

“Coach” had a deep impact in my life at a young age. Before Fred became well known at AHS, he was my Coach and Principal at Jackson Jr. High. He showed me love and discipline. He, along with others in T-ville, helped me and many young men navigate troubled teen-age years. Coach, because of you, I turned out alright. Minister, Navy Chaplain, Husband for 42 years, Father and Grandfather. Until we meet again….

He was a true and strong leader. My son Frank had the honor of knowing him and fooling around in-between classes. Our lives were truly blessed to have known him. A great Man, that will surely be missed.

My deepest condolences to the Bynum family. Cindy and I were classmates and Mr. Bynum was a kind man. I remember him at Astronaut, all those years ago. May the Lord embrace your entry into His kingdom, Mr. Bynum, and may He grant peace to all of those grieving your loss.

My deepest condolences to Mr. Bynum’s family and friends. He was a great man, educator, administrator. I was a student under him at Parkway Jr. High and kept up with him from time to time. He was such a fine man, strong and strong with The Lord, an excellent example for young men (and old men). He will be missed, but he leaves this life well lived.
