You can imagine the shock I got reading that Charlotte had passed away today. I am planning a trip to Fl in the Spring to see family and old friends. My precious Charlotte was at the top on my list. I don’t think you could find a more kind, compassionate, humorous and loving friend. She was always there when I was in need especially when my mother was fighting her battle with cancer. I am so blessed to have had her in my life. I will miss not seeing her next year but she will always be in my heart.

Charlotte was like a sister to me. She was my friend and my family.
The years I had with her are full of wonderful memories that will never be forgotten. From meeting the first day of 6th grade to her final days. She was a joy and a privilege to know. Her shining light she held,on earth is now a beautiful new STAR in the heavens.
Rest in peace my dear friend.

With our deepest sympathy. Although not close at Mel Hi, it only took 45 years of reunions to find out what a caring and compassionate lady she was.
There will be an emptiness at that 50 yr reunion registration table next year. Again, sorry for your loss.

Charlotte will be sorely missed – not just by her family, but the tons of friends she made on her journey here on this earth. She was a very giving person expecting nothing in return. I will always remember all the fun we had on our “road trips” and dinner get-togethers – so many memories and so many laughs! My sincere condolences to her family….

No words can ever describe the amount of laughter that Charlotte brought into our lives. No matter of the situation, Charlotte always found the bright spot and made sure that all of us saw it as well. She was a wonderful friend and mentor and she will be truly missed. Her friendship and support will never be forgotten and I will always be sure that Sam knows what a special person his “Aunt Charlotte” was, as I know she is will be looking over all of us and continuing to help guide our way.

Charlotte helped so many people throughout her life. Her sense of humor will be remembered. The folks at Glenbrook all loved her and will miss her. Mel-Hi Class of 65 lost their leader and one of the reasons there was so much joy and fun at reunions. Ron and I have great memories of Charlotte which will live on.

The world is a better place for having our Charlotte in it. Such a special lady. Have known her 35 years and have had the most wonderful times and fun with her and our “Special Needs Group”. (The group will understand, lol!) She was the most generous with her time, advice & wisdom. Really awesome too was her wonderful sense of humor. I never laughed so much in my life as I did around her and listening to her stories. God bless you Charlotte and your family. Love you and will see you again. Jana

Words will never be enough to express my love for my life supporter, biggest cheerleader, best friend, and Grandmother. I was beyond blessed to have such an influential woman to look up to and learn from. As we would say to each other often, I love you to the moon and back. Today, tomorrow, and forever.
