My mother, Alice Burnham Nugent, was Lisle's first cousin. My husband and I met Lisle once a few years when visiting Melbourne Beach to attend my stepdaughter's master's graduation ceremony from FIT. I had just learned from my aunt Eloise (Burnham Hall Matheny) that Lisle lived in Melbourne Beach, so I called him up. His wife was already in the memory care facility, so we didn't meet her, but we had a delightful visit with Lisle.
Much love to your family.

I met your Dad more recently here in South Shores and became fast friends thru initially offering to watch his kitty when he travelled home for Thanksgiving. He was the same age as my Dad, served in the military and Korean war in the Navy, same as my Dad, worked for IBM, same as my dad. So we naturally bonded. We played some awesome cribbage games and he was sure to let my husband and I know when we weren’t following the rules! We enjoyed several happy hours together and dinner once in a while. We are only here during 3 months each fall so I made a point of seeing your Dad during that time. I’m very sorry for your loss. Your dad was a joy for me to be around and I will miss him. Hold his memories close to your heart and they will bring you comfort during this time.
