I also remember seeing Jay at little league games and often bought seafood from his markets. I remember him as being kind and honest. I was shocked and sad and buy the sudden loss of my cousin Jay. As one of the elder cousins now that all of our aunts and uncles have passed away, was an important repository of the family history. He tried to keep in touch. He even invited Cameron and me to the family reunion over memorial day. I was sorry we could not attend. His sudden passing reminds me of how important it is for families to connect.. I wish we could have see each other more often. It feels like another branch of the family has been cut off. He will be sorely missed.
We are out of the country right now and regret that we cannot attend his funeral. We will be in touch and we get back. God bless you Marilyn as you sort through the next few days and months. God be with your children and grandchildren.

Met jay thru the Brevard soccer club our kids played for . Then he had one of his businesses across the street from me . Jay would always help me with things I’d ask of him . May the gracious arms of God cradle the soul and timelessness of a fine and decent man. As kind a man as I’ve known in all my years in the seafood business, he recently regularly checked up on me during my illness the past year. Always asking how my daughter is doing and immediately sharing the virtues of his family, Jay Moon was as kind and gracious as any friend I’ve ever known. It was my honor to know Jay, a man with a huge heart and good common sense. His love and devotion to his family was powerful, and his love for God even more so.
