Scott Sisk

Obituary of Scott Philip Sisk

Scott Philip Sisk, 39, passed away on Friday, November 10th, tragically in a car accident on his way home from work. He leaves behind his wife and best friend Amber Sisk and their four-year-old daughter Alana. Scott and Amber, high school sweethearts, have been together for almost twenty years. Anyone who knows either Scott or Amber has a hard time thinking of one without the other. He was a loving father who enjoyed joking, playing and wrestling with his daughter during “Family Dojo Hour.” Both protective and supportive, his motto was always “Family first.” Growing up in a house of brothers, Scott had developed a big brother persona that could be both comforting and reassuring. With an innate ability to have the right joke at the right moment, Scott could work a room, making others laugh until their bellies ached. Whether or not you were his family, he had a way of making you feel like he was your long-lost brother. He made everyone feel special and welcome and paired that with bear hugs that were just tight enough to take your breath away. Scott was caring and compassionate, someone you wanted around when you needed someone to lean on. His passion and charisma could be seen in all facets of his life. Not confining himself to the world of jokes, Scott possessed a very serious side. For years, he dedicated his personal strengths to the funeral industry, striving to make the most difficult moments in a person’s life a little bit easier. Respectful and sympathetic to the families he worked with, Scott took great pride in knowing that he could console others as they grieved the loss of their loved ones. If only he were here today. Scott is survived by his wife, Amber Sisk; daughter, Alana Sisk; his mother, Vicki Sisk; brothers, Michael (Melissa) Sisk, Jonathan (Katie) Sisk, and David (Linda) Sisk; grandmother, Marie Pace; grandfather, Victor (Brenda) Ashline; father and mother-in-law, Patrick and Julie Thompson; sister-in-law, Autumn (Peter) Petronzio; brothers-in-law, Alexander Thompson and Reed Heairet; nieces, Ainsley Sisk, Isabella Sisk, Grace Heairet, Hope Heairet, and Rosemarie Petronzio; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
