I had just recently learned of Scott’s passing, and wanted to leave a note of appreciation from my whole family for having known him for the brief time of our acquaintance.
Scott had helped us with the arrangements of the untimely passing of my daughter, Lindsay, in the few weeks before his own. We were fortunate to have been guided through all that must be considered and decided while in shock and grief by his kindness, understanding, and sincere empathy. I made a note in my calendar to contact Scott months later to thank him again, so; much gratitude for your help and significant presence at such a time for us.
Scott’s quality of character was apparent, and his ability to care for, and about, others is a great example. Once during this time, I asked him about his own background and family, and it was clear how deeply he loved and was devoted to his wife and daughter. Our hearts go out to Scott’s family for the absence of our loved ones in this life, and to have them continue to shape our existence for the good fortune of having had them.
Many Blessings, The Smalley/Rivera families.

What a special person. We enjoyed knowing him as a young person and being along for part of the journey as he became a polished professional and a loving/dedicated family man. We will miss his quick wit, along with his warm and caring nature. He was a gifted communicator that could ease a difficult situation with a shrug of his shoulder, a tilt of his head or a simple “aah”. At work you could count on Scott to lift his co-workers up with a smile and when needed a hug. He came to work ready to work and put in any amount of effort needed to serve the needs of a grieving family. Our hearts ache for Amber, Vicki, Alana and the entire Sisk family.

I am so honored that I had the opportunity to get to know Scott. His smile and laugh were infectious and when he walked into a room the atmosphere would instantly become a brighter, happier place. When I would become frustrated at work Scott would always lend a ear and listen to my woes and try to crack a joke to make me feel better, which he always did. Scott would be walking by and hear me talking about Disney movies or hear me humming the song “You’re Welcome” from Moana and would instantly stop in his tracks and break out into song, getting it stuck in the heads of whoever was around for weeks! My heart aches that he is gone and the world just seems duller knowing he isn’t here. My heart goes out to all the Sisk family! Words can’t describe how sorry I am for what happened. You all will be in my thoughts!

I was deeply saddened to hear of Scott’s passing. Although we both had our separate lives as we grew up some of my greatest childhood memories were with Scott. I am lucky to have known him.
