It’s been year’s since I’ve seen Norm but I never knew about his strong feelings of his political views until Christmas 2 years ago when Norm had texted me and asked me to remove something from my facebook as a friend I did that for him because I learned that it bothered him, Norm and I where volunteers at the Bowley’s Quarter’s Fire Department for years, we went on a lot of calls with each other and worked party’s for our company. Then I remember when he told me that he was moving on in the service it was sad to see him leave but you just couldn’t keep him still. So Laura I never knew you but may God Bless you and your family and I know that Norm will alway’s be with you.

Dear Laura,
My heart hurts for you right now but also skips a beat or two because I know how deeply the two of you loved one another. That was very special and it showed. Norm will truly be missed. Everytime I see one of those special Starbucks mugs I will think of him. My condolences to you and the rest of the family.

Sorry for your loss as well as the Lacher family. Norm and I hired into GE on the same day back in 2003. We spent time together on customer site visits and many nights trying to solve the World’s problems at the local watering holes.
Politics and other differences aside we always managed a laugh or two and became good friends.
He will be missed..

Laura,
I met Norm years ago and remember his warm smile and amazing personality. He felt like one of the family at the kids birthday party.
Through the years I could see how happy the two of you were together.
Every picture told a special story.
I could actually hear you laughing while I admired your posted photos on FaceBook. I love you Smooty.
My heart is with you and your family.
