I just realized I could leave a condolence here. My brother Peter was such a treasure. He was everything you could ask for in a brother. We have all been blessed by his life and love of family. I will keep always in my heart the sound of his laughter, his concern for all that concerned us, his willingness to connect with us by phone and in person when that was possible. His faith was foremost in his mind and life. I can’t ever remember having a conversation with him that the Lord was not mentioned. He made sure we talked for Holidays and birthdays and it was so evident that he loved and was proud of his children and grandchildren. I will treasure the beautiful cards with his paintings on them, sent faithfully for birthdays. And I will remember fondly the visit to his house where he shared his love of beauty in his garden, paintings, home decor, and the tender love he had for his wife and my sister in law Virginia. I will be forever grateful for his influence in my life and will miss his so much. But I know he is in Heaven and we will meet again. What a blessed comfort!

For Pete’s family my sincerest condolences on your loss. Although we both worked for Grumman, I only met Pete here in Melbourne. I have fond memories fishing with him and he was a good man who will be missed.

We are so saddened at the loss of our brother. He always was ready to share the love of Christ. He was always asking about our children and grandchildren and prayed for them, and us. I know he is now with the Lord and will miss him. We loved him so very much. Rest In Peace brother.

So many wonderful memories. The boat rides in Port Jefferson, the picnics at the park. He was a wonderful friend to my parents for over 50 years. My dad was so sad to learn of his passing. He was a great man.

My heart goes out to you especially Virginia, his wife, joint believer, and companion for 62 years, the mother of his children, the keeper of his heart. May your rich memories sustain you in the days ahead and may all 4 of you, his beautiful daughters—Susan, Tinalouise, Christine and Loretta—be comforted by knowing how much he loved, enjoyed and cherished all of you
and the grandchildren you blessed him with, and that he walks with all of you in a different, yet even more powerful reality now. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My brother was a truly unique person, full of life and fun, always smiling and joking and very verbal about his love for the Lord Jesus and his total commitment to his God and his family. He had many talents, and always sought perfection in whatever activity he was engaged in…no half measures for Peter! He loved and honored our parents in their old age, making many sacrifices to visit them on a regular basis. The beautiful birthday and Anniversary cards he sent our way, decorated with his lovely original paintings, will always be treasured by me, and the acrylic painting he did of 3 pelicans hangs on our bedroom wall, framed in gold leaf that he painstakingly applied himself. As I see it several times a day it will remind me of his faithful love, expressed in concrete ways, by phone calls, cards and meetings for lunch once a year when we were returning from our annual Daytona or Ormond Beach get-away. I will miss his warm and loving physical presence, but I KNOW where he is and I rejoice with him that he made it over the finish line with flying colors! Rest In Peace my dear brother. Enjoy the reward promised to those who put their trust in the Lord Jesus

Pete was my fishing buddy but most of all he was my friend. I will miss the times we spent at Sebastian Inlet fishing for snook in the fall. I have many of Pete’s art work hanging in my house that I will always cherish. He was the most honest and sincere person I ever met and I will miss him. God bless Pete’s family.
