Sonny, I will always remember you for your love of ice cream; it never mattered what time of day; it was always okay for ice cream. All of the trips I made to “the County” with your Dad will always be fond memories, he could hardly wait to go see Sonny.
Your love for your Dad was admirable. He talked with you, I believe, everyday while he lived in upstate NY. He was so proud of you. The Apple didn’t fall far from the tree.
One thing I’ll never forget is your tweeting sound, always made your Dad laugh.
Your Dad was always amazed at your appetite. You worked so hard all of your life. You had a loving family.
I’m very happy Lori came into your life. The two of you were meant to be together.
Your friendship with the Rose family will always be cherished.
May you rest in peace Sonny(a.k.a. Charles Frederick Hill III). When I go up to “the County” again I will make a stop at Houlton Farms Dairy and have an ice cream in your memory. It was an honor to have known you.

Sonny, I actually first met you in the early to mid 60’s, pre vietnam in upstate NY. I reconnected with you in Fla in the late 70’s-80’s. I will always remember you as one of the kindest and most giving persons in the world and that unmistakable smile!I have been most honored to have known you! Rest In Peace my Friend

He was my best friend. I knew him better than my own brother. The times we shared will be remembered forever . No one will ever replace him both in body and spirt. I have this deep hole in my heart that I will never ever be able to replace. You only meet a few people in your whole live that you will consider a true and caring friend this was Charlie. He never knew the word NO, he was alway there for you no matter what you needed. I know he now sits next to the most beloved being in the world GOD. Till we meet again my dearest friend.

Dad,
You will be so greatly missed and I am blessed I got to be one of your many adopted daughters! You always loved to joke around and make everything so funny, even when you almost got Michelle and I in trouble for taking ice cream off your truck by claiming you didn’t know us! There are so many of those wonderful stories to remember you by. Just know that your daughters are both wonderful, good, decent people who will continue to do you proud. I wish you could have been here longer but I know you are watching out for them and Lori. I love you dad, you rest now.

It us so hard to see this dad, your sweet face will forever be embedded in my mind. I will never, ever get over you and wish you were here to make me laugh. I have always been proud to be your daughter because you are the most wonderful man in world and I can only pray my boys will be like their papa someday. I love so much dad.
