Jan I am sorry to learn of losing Lou. I was just recalling our trip to Italy and being part of your lives when you were in real estate, teaching me everything I know.
I sent a note to you in Melbourne last month but it came back to me.
I don’t know how this all works after life but it would be comforting to think Lou and John are sharing jokes and stories.over a glass of Italian wine.
I’ve run away to the beautiful island of Oahu. Come and enjoy the peace and island love.

Crossing the Bar
By Lord Alfred Tennyson
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho’ from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.
