Lloyd was a dear, dear friend and was always around to “help”. He didn’t want me to write him notes, he wanted me to call him so we could talk! Throughout the 8 plus years that I knew him from our church group, he sent me a pile of encouragement notes via snail mail. (I filed all of these notes with his name on it and Lloyd thought that was cool! :)) Just Godly encouragement to keep looking to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. I have a painting that he did for me, taken from a “thank you” note I had once sent him. It is hanging on my wall and such a beautiful memory of this dear brother in Christ. I will miss him terribly. He loved Jesus and we could “talk til the cows came home” about this very subject! What a joyous occasion for him! to arrive in the presence of the One he loved so much. My sincere love and condolences go out to Donna and all of her family! God’s grace will hold you up during this time of grief. Our prayers from the Home group are with you all the way!
