don jack’s sister ann married my brother, John I did not know don that well but I have a fond memory of he and Marjo that I will share. In 1957-58 I was in boarding school attending high school at Berea kentucky. Marjo and don attended eastern Kentucky university in Richmond. They gave me a ride to Berea one Sunday night They drove me all the way to berea, out of their way by about 50 miles, a kindness not forgotten after 60 or so years. Thanks for the ride don jack. To my dear friend Don.
To a brother in Christ and a brother in the Corps I will always miss your gentle spirit. Our Lord shined through you as you were a walking, talking testimony of the gospel.
It amazing now that your walking upon streets of gold. Your going to be so missed. Your wonderful church family will watch over your sweet wife and great son.
Thank you for being my friend, and now Marine it’s your turn to Guard those pearly gates.

I was priveledged to know Don and family from Calvary Chapel and served with them in the hospital ministry. Don was always so sweet and kind and just speaking with him you could tell he loved Jesus. He also loved my chocolate chip cookies, burned a little on the bottom. I think he just said that to make me feel better about the burned ones. His memory will stay in my heart forever. Rest in peace dear Don.
