Tom was the finest and most loving man I ever had the pleasure to know. His kindness and dedication to his beloved family was and is unprecedented. As the old adage goes “they just dont make them like that any more.” Rest in peace Tom.

Dear Kim,
I’m so sorry to learn of the loss of your dad. He was a great man. He was always kind, loving & understanding and could easily hold it all together in a house full of teen age girls. He epitomized strength & caring. I’m sure there are many, many lives which have been touched by his presence. And I know he will continue to watch over all of you until you meet again. Prayers & Hugs to you & your entire family.

I am so sorry for you loss. I’ll never forget some of your family get togethers I was blessed to be invited to. It seemed your dad and mom were always laughing about something! Having lost both my parents now, I think I can understand the heart ache you all are feeling. I have come to know the loss will never go away it will only lesson over time. Know that you are in our hearts and prayers and sending loving hugs your way.
Sadly, I will be out of town for the celebration of your dads life. All of you will need to cling to each other and take comfort in knowing that your dad had an amazing life, in the end, what more could you ask for….
Love,
Brenda

To all of the children of Tom – you could not have written a more perfect memory of Tom! He was always the life of any gathering – his stories may have been a bit exaggerated at time: however that is what made the story so much better. I still hear his voice almost daily. My family & their significant other were all in attendance at the Ironman Competition July 22nd & various times that week we talked about Tom. We were telling them how he would tell stories of the Marines & how funny he was when telling stories. We miss him so VERY much!!!! Yes he was quite a man one who loved & adopted 7 children & fathered 1 special daughter whom he also loved plus all of the extended families. It took someone nuts like him to do that; but oh how he loved everyone of you! You all were so blessed as was Nancy with the way he was determined to make sure she was cared for in her illness. May the Lord give you all strength & peace. Love Eileen & Jere

A true stand up guy, Tom was an exceptionally kind and strong man, who was one of the hardest working people I’ve ever known. His home building skills alone make him a legend in my book. Rest In Peace, Marine.

Words cannot even begin to express how sad we all were to get this news. Tom ( as all the Stouch’s) were our second family. Almost all my childhood memories are of them. Tom was an amazing , amazing human being, this beautiful tribute to him says it all. We love you Tom! I hope you have joined my Mom and Dad and are sharing Carpenter Rd stories! Maybe even getting a game of Family Feud going in heaven! We love all of you!
