Obituary of Rick E. Casto
Rick E. Casto died Sunday March 6th, 2016 in Melbourne Florida. He is survived by two brothers, their wives, one niece, and three nephews. He was dearly loved and will be missed. Rick was always a salesman at heart and looking for a deal. In his younger days he worked for The Fuller Brush Co. and for a time with New York Life Insurance Company. He was born in Charleston W. V. on March 9. 1954. He attended college at West Virginia University.
Rick grew up in and around So. Charleston and in a holler named Coco, below Pinch Ridge outside of Elkview. A lot of you reading this will know just where that is. He moved to central Florida around 1985 and really loved the town of Cocoa Beach. He spent very much of his time on or very close to the beach. Rick grew up in the Church of Christ. Over the past few years he attended Our Savior Catholic Church and became a knight at the Cocoa Beach chapter of The Knights of Columbus.
Rick loved life and truly enjoyed people and good company. He could always muster up a big grin and might pull a trick on you if he got a chance.
