Dave and Stephen,
You have been in my thoughts, heart, and prayers since I learned of Rick’s passing. Rick and I spent a lot of time together in childhood and I have many happy memories of him and all of you. We were surrounded by a large, loving family.
God bless you. Love and hugs.
Your cousin, Vickie

I had not seen my cousin Rick in many years but I have good memories of walking down the road to the old swimming hole and just Rick and I out in the middle of the river in an old row bow. At one time Rick had waist length blond hair – it was beautiful. He was a free spirit but had a good soul.

I was sad to hear of Rick’s passing. I remember all the kids in the neighborhood playing in our yard. I know it is hard to be separated from him, but he is at peace. We love you and miss you.

i remember rick was a good older brother and guardian.he taught me all things a boy needed to know back then.as i write this i recall things like his favorite cartoon was popeye and he once got a haircut(back when he still had hair)which made a little cowlick stick up.he said he looked like buckwheat from our gang and that nickname stayed with him among his friends.also if the green bay packers lost you couldnt talk to him for awhile.
growing up we were lucky to have a close knit extended family. i will always look back on those days with fond memories
rick was a wanderer and our paths seperated for a while but i’m glad to say that in the last year or so of his life we were reconnected and i can say that his easy air and happy-go-lucky atitude never left him.
i dont have later pics of rick and asi continue to dig up old ones i wll post them under his 6 year old picture where it says more photos
