Obituary of Michael Pearson Kelly
Michael Pearson Kelly Jr., age 43, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017.
Mike was born in Birmingham, AL on July 23rd, 1973. He was raised in a loving family in South Florida and graduated from Ft. Pierce Central High School. He was married to Stephanie Kelly on November 11th, 2000.
He was raised in a very loving family with football and youth sports as a focus. Youth sports were his passion and through this he gave back to the community. Coach Mike has helped players, other coaches, parents and board members with his energetic, supportive, forgiving nature. Every time Mike coached, his family got bigger. Each one of the kids that he coached in some special way became family. The parents of the kids in some special way became family.
Mike was a third generation driver who used those skills as a coach to be a team player, guide co-workers and teach the skill of driving. He has helped many practice for their CDL or regular driver test. His family grew with each job he had and his family grew with his sharing of faith.
He had a faith that was unstoppable and without hesitation. He did not pass judgement and forgave with ease. He brought many to the Lord over the years. Mike was never afraid to share his strong relationship with Jesus.
Mike Kelly loved his family. He loved his wife and children. He loved his brother and sisters. He loved his grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. That love extended his definition of family to those at work, church and youth activity families.
He was survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Stephanie Jo Kelly and his children Lindsay Jo Kelly and Michael James Kelly.
Service will be at 2pm on Saturday February 11th, at Bethany Ministries, 1100 West Dorchester West Melbourne.
