Janet,
Yvonne and I are so grateful John and into our lives the way he did at FCC church picnic. He introduced himself to Yvonne and two of my daughters and became instantly a part of our family. I didn’t meet him until later when coming back into town. He’s been my friend and brother ever since. I will miss him terribly. And now our love and friendship rests with you, our dear Sister. Our prayers and thoughts are always towards you.

Janet, our love and condolences are with you. Our life is richer having known John, and of course knowing you. Because of your strong relationship with Jesus Christ I know he has you in the palm of his hand. And we are comforted knowing how happy John is right now and that we will all see him again.

Janet,
What a wonderful man you had for a husband! What a wonderful man I had for a friend since our days at Wilkes Central High School. His loyalty to his God, to you, to his friends, his co workers and to his church family is a lesson to us all. He lived his life secure in the Lord and I can see that smile on his face as he is in His presence. Please know that Max and I have you in our prayers. Please come by anytime you are in Wilkes. Sending our love to you.

Janet, I so very much enjoyed our friendship in Christ for the brief time we were placed in each other’s paths by our Lord. I am envious of your and Johns life together and the many memories you shared together. I will continue my prayers for you to know and feel and touch the many ways you loved one another.

When God welcomes our loved one into the Kingdom of Heaven, He also sends His angels down to Earth to comfort and console those left to grieve. We send our hugs and heartfelt condolences knowing that John is safe and at peace with the Lord. May he continue to listen to the music of jazz just like he did in life. He was a special man.
You are in our prayers, Janet.
Warmly, Rich & Linda Gotham

John and Janet left a tremendous legacy at Harvest and in the city of Seaford. That Kingdom impact will go on for all eternity! John lived out his convictions in a way that was an example to us all. Janet (and family), we will continue to pray for you through this bittersweet season and into the next season that the Lord has for you. Blessings to you all.

I would like to share this message John sent me. Very uplifting and st peace with God and himself…
Thank you Tony. Since my diagnosis, God has given me an incredible peace that I cannot explain. I have already experienced many victories. I have never really been given visions before, but one I received was while they were doing my bone scan. I was singing some worship music and I saw a vision of Jesus on His knees weeping for me. I was overwhelmed knowing Jesus loves me so much He would do that for me. I am calling this a journey not a battle because Jesus has already won the battle!
Thank you again for your support and prayers. They are much appreciated.
Blessings my friend,
John
