When I think of the leaders of Malabar Lakes West, I think of Hank and Hannah Taylor. Hannah is the Social Director; and the person to go to if you want to find out about our neighbors and events. And , Hank was our President and our leader. He was the one that everyone went to for answers about what needed to be done.
His position as President still hasn’t been filled- I’m sure it’s because we all know that we can’t do justice. We won’t be able to fill his shoes. He was such a great man; and if he didn’t know the answer to someone’s questions, he sure found the resources to answer them .
I look up to Hank and Hannah for so many reasons.
My heart breaks for you, Hannah. But, you’ll never be alone because you make great friends wherever you go, and you have a beautiful family. And people love you.
Thinking of you ….. Kathy and Bob

I have the best memories of Hank while living on Burgess Hill. I remember one time when he was trying to trim a HUGE pine tree on the side of his house and all the men (my dad, included) gathered around the base of the tree to marvel at how well Hank was maneuvering this very difficult task. I also remember how everyone called him “Hank” except for Hannah who always called him “Henry.” I always thought that was so sweet. We love the Taylor family, and we are lifting you up in our prayers.

Sending our thoughts and prayers to Hannah and all of the family. Hank was one of a kind. He always made us laugh , and he could fix just about anything. John’s words are so true..”Hank was just an all around nice guy. He’s one of the finest men I’ve ever called my friend.”

My heart is broken at the loss of Hank. He was the patriarch of our neighborhood. He was my friend and as I now gaze across the lake at his home, it is like a huge hole is torn in my life-book. We love you Hanna and we are here for you. Hank was such a good friend and neighbor, his not being here for us is a loss that is felt by our entire community. May God bless Hanna and all of Hank’s family with comfort and piece during this most difficult time.
