Jo was such a sweet caring person. We had a lot of fun and laughter on our girls day out (gambling). Shhhh. Don’t tell. Being Italian, she always made fun of me if I ate pizza with a fork. You will be glad to know I no longer do that. Prayers for her and her family. She will be missed.

My heartfelt condolences to each of you during this time. Jo was a spit fire and made sure you knew where her point of view was. I went to school with Angel and she made you feel at home when you stopped by. When I moved back to Florida and worked at the same Walmart she was at I remembered her right away. Please know that she is now watching out for all of you from above. Prayers to everyone.

Dear Giovanna and family,
Sending prayers to all of you in your time of grieving .
I knew her through her daughter, Giovanna.
She was very kind every time I spoke to her at Walmart.
I know how much the family will miss her.

My Aunt Josie was an intelligent, hard working woman who made the best of what she had. She was an open minded individual and she had a spicy side as well. We didn’t have to talk every day to maintain a close bond. I always knew she was there for me. My aunt was proud to be an Italian as am I. She was the last of the 4 Variale sisters and the coolest. She didn’t candy coat her perspective in our heart to heart conversations. I respected her for that and I learned so much from her. I spent a summer with her as a teenager, and I enjoyed every moment we had together. She would tell me stories of her childhood and of mine as well. It is a memory I will cherish forever. I had the best conversation with her only days before she passed and for that, I am grateful because she left knowing she was loved by me and so many others. Heaven got a great one when she left us. I will always miss her and love her dearly.
All my love,
Cheryl
