Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Ricketson

Elizabeth Ann (Fry) Ricketson, age 69 years, passed away on August 17, 2018 in Palm Bay, Florida. Elizabeth was born in Pampa, Texas on December 17, 1948 to Clarence and Florence (Bunn) Fry and was the oldest of two children. She was married to Tommy H. Ricketson of Pampa, Texas in 1968. Elizabeth also lived in Garland, Texas; Round Rock, Texas; and Plumsteadville, Pennsylvania as she raised her three children. While in Texas, the family frequently visited Galveston Island where they formed many lasting memories of their times together on the beach. In Pennsylvania, Elizabeth took on new adventures as she enjoyed raising chickens, ducks, and sheep on the family’s ten-acre property in the countryside. Elizabeth was devoted to her family and was very supportive of and involved with her children’s interests in the sciences, art and music. Family meant everything to her. After her children were grown, Elizabeth moved to Melbourne Beach, Florida and later to Palm Bay, Florida to enjoy the sunny weather and beach life. Elizabeth lived a peaceful life in Florida with her two dogs. Elizabeth is survived by a brother, Christopher (Mary) Fry of Bethany, Oklahoma; a daughter, Michelle Ricketson of Sellersville, Pennsylvania; and two sons, Michael Ricketson of Dublin, Pennsylvania and Tommy (Debora) Ricketson of Melbourne, Florida. Services are private.
