My condolences to the Sparks family. May his soul rest in peace. I worked with Paul at Waste Management. We shared many fun times and went to several soccer matches together. He is a great man and fun to be around. I will keep him and the family in my prayers.

My sincerest condolences as Paul was a great business partner not only to me but also to my father when he was alive. I was shocked to hear the news not knowing he had been ill. It was a pleasure to see him when he’d pop in unannounced in the Northeast. May God rest his soul. His family are in our thoughts and prayers.

To Paula and your dear family. We will miss Paul so very much for the rest of our lives. We will never forget, however, all of the great and special times that we shared together with you two!! We think of you everyday and pray for peace and comfort. You and Paul are forever in our hearts and although we miss his presence on this earth we know that we will all be reunited in beautiful Heaven one day. Until that time we pray that you will stay close to us and call and visit with us whenever you can. We are here for you always. Paul was that special friend, loving husband and father and an all around great and wonderful man. We were honored to be called his friends.

On behalf of Paul’s cousin, Kenneth Pakenham, who is in care with end-stage Alzheimer’s Disease, I would like to express our condolences to Paul’s wife Paula and their beloved children. Ken often shared his fond memories of visits to Dublin to stay with Paul and his parents. Later, on his many trips to Washington, D.C., Ken stayed with Paul and his family, enjoying the many memories they shared. As Ken’s wife, I, too, grew to love the Sparks family, and was so grateful for Paul’s calls to Ken as his Alzheimer’s Disease progressed. I only regret that I am unable to join Paula and their children as they celebrate Paul’s life, as I need to stay with my husband as Paula stayed by Paul’s side. May you all take comfort in knowing that Paul loved you all more than life itself and now is with his Savior.
