It has been two weeks today that you were taken away from me and y world will never be the same. You were two men, the rough tough marine, and the the soft gentle side that was for me alone. The love for yur children was boundless and your only regrett was you were noot able to do more for them. We traveled the world and had so many friends that will miss you. You are everywhere I look and I can feel your arms around me keeping me safe until we are united once more. I love you and I miss you but will forget you never. Our 59 years were not enough. We shall remain as one for eturnity.

Charlie and Gerry were our best friends. More weekends than not, we were together doing something. We hope that continues with Gerry. Charlie was a remarkable man of many talents, but most of all a caring man. Recently, even though he wasn’t feeling well he insisted he was going to pick us up at the airport after a trip. and he had checked our house for problems every day while we were gone. Our lives were enriched because we knew Charles Woodward. We miss you, our friend. Semper fi, Charlie

Our hearts are heavy hearing of the passing of Uncle Charlie. What a very special man. For those reading this, none of it will be a surprise. We all know the Aunt Gerry and Uncle Charlie lit up every room they entered and the hearts of all in those rooms. I always remember the joy on my son’s face when Uncle Charlie would show his many magic tricks, especially the “ball in the bag.” Aunt Gerry and Uncle Charlie have sent my son a card and treat for every holiday for years. While we didn’t see them often, the sadness we all are experiencing hearing of Charlie’s passing has been profound, especially for our son. How lucky we’ve been to have known someone as funny and talented as Charlie. How blessed we are to have Aunt Gerry in our lives. Sending love and hugs to the entire family…

We will all miss Chuck. Our condolences. Jim knew Chuck professionally in the New York area. When Jim relocated to Florida he reconnected with Chuck. We were just starting our business so Chuck went out of his way to subcontract work to us and help us get started. This was the kind of man he was. Over the last 35 years we worked together in business and socialized together. It is a great loss.

Our deepest sympathies to your entire family. “Chuck”, as we knew him was such a lovely man. He was such a special friend to both of my Parents until their passings. I recall the time we visited from New York and Chuck was kind enough to give my husband a chance of a lifetime and made arrangements for him to play golf at Bay Hill. My son who currently serves as a United States Marine told Chuck when he was about 4 years old that he wanted to be a Marine. Chuck’s face lit up and from then on, he always said “semper-fi” to Jordan. My son always remembered that. Together, Chuck and Ger raised a wonderful family that I know they were both very proud of. I know this is a very difficult time for your family and I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. Big hugs from New York.

My sincere sympathy to the entire Woodward family. I knew Chuck very well, and enjoyed some wonderful times with him and his brothers who are very good friends of mine. I particularly want to express to the four of them, how sorry I am for their loss. I too have lost a dear brother, so I more than most know what they are feeling. My deepest condolences to Tom, Rich, Doug and John for the loss of a brother who meant so much to them.
