Obituary of Matthew C. Lawlor

Matthew C. Lawlor age 84 of West Melbourne, Florida went home to be with Jesus on December 12, 2019. Born to Joseph R. and Lenore Lee Lawlor on October 24, 1935 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Matt is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carol Parker Lawlor. He is a father to three beautiful daughters: Lori Walton (husband John), Staci Seierstad (husband Tom), and Andrea LoPresti (husband Dano), He is mourned by his precious grandchildren: Cassi Zachmann, Steve Zachmann, Lyndsey Seierstad (fiancé Colton), Lexy Seierstad, Hunter Seierstad (fiancé Jillian), Faith Seierstad, Gabriella LoPresti, and Danny LoPresti. Also survived by his identical twin brother Joseph M. Lawlor (wife Mimi) of Columbus, Wisconsin. Lover of Jesus, lover of family and friends, he will be deeply missed! He graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. He spent 40 plus years in sales and marketing traveling around the country selling different products. He was passionate about his jobs! He was most passionate about his faith in the Lord Jesus, and spent years sharing that love and passion in youth ministry, prayer groups, his elder care program, and even in his final days praying with the nursing staff. His boldness amazed all that met him! How awesome he is now in the presence of the ONE he loved most! He adored his family, laughed and sang with them, taught them the importance of Jesus in their lives, and was so very proud of them! He was preceded in death by two unborn children, his father and mother (Joe and Lenore), and grandparents (Martin and Christina Lawlor and Joseph and Lenore Lee).
