Ernie & Becky House posted a condolence

I began my career at Radiation Inc working along side Harold in 1967 and became his neighbor the next year. Becky and l were married weeks after starting work with Harold. He was always there for us during our early married life. He loved telling the story’s of the hills of Kentucky. I will always remember his fried egg sandwich, hotdogs and our trips to FatBoys BBQ for large hamburgers and BBQ. We were always working together doing many projects on our houses/cars. When Carol was a teenager he told her he installed a filter on his car radio to filter out rock music (he liked country music). After sharing rides together and working side by side for seven years, Harris moved Becky and I to Omaha Ne. Harold, Dotty, Chip and DeAnn moved to Omaha some years later for Harris. Of course we got back together, riding/working together. He was a easy going, honest and caring person that would help anyone. May the Harold Caudill family be comforted that his pain is gone.

As much as I have sat here staring at this, trying to figure out what to say, nothing I can say will ever fully convey the full emotions I, and I’m sure the rest of the family, are feeling. Harold, Granddaddy, will always be known as an incredibly strong person who was there for us, no matter what. I miss him and appreciate everything he did for us when we were kids. I only wish I had gotten a chance to say goodbye. I love you Granddaddy and I am just so happy you are no longer hurting. Please watch over us and rest in peace.

I shall always remember Harold as a very kind man. When he and family lived in Florida, it seemed so far away. I pray for his family during this time. May God be with all of you. Love you, Velma Jean and Ken Nicholson.
