Obituary of Jacquelyn Victoria Aleman
"Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many, Jacquelyn (Jackie) Victoria Aleman, passed away on May 25, 2024, in Melbourne, Florida, after a short illness. She was 81.
Jackie was born in South Bend, Indiana, and grew up in Chicago with her sister Roxann, with whom she remained very close. She graduated from John Marshall High School in 1960 and later made her mark in Florida.
Jackie was a woman of many accomplishments. From 1980 to 2006, she served with utmost dedication at the Miami Metro-Dade Police Department, eventually retiring as a shift supervisor with the Criminal Warrants Bureau. In her final years, she retired to Melbourne, where she was the happiest.
Jackie's love for her family was unparalleled. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Kenny and Jeff, providing them with a happy, loving home. Her role as a grandmother to Christopher was cherished; she was known as "Abuela." She adored her only great-grandchild, Aria Luna. Her love extended to her daughters-in-law, Kelly and Ruth, who found in her a source of inspiration and love.
Jackie was known for her smile, kind heart, generosity, positivity, and wisdom. She was the heart and soul of our family and her friends and will be dearly missed.
At Jackie's request, there will be no services, but before she passed, she made it known she wanted us all to share a laugh, raise a glass to celebrate her life, and journey home in God's loving embrace."
