Obituary of Sheryl Lynn Fry
Sheryl Lynn Fry, aged 56, passed away on May 20th, 2024, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She departed peacefully at St. Francis Melbourne Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.
Born on October 8th, 1967, to Harold Eugene Coulter and Johen Thresia (Smith) Coulter, Sheryl Lynn Fry inspired and charmed all she encountered. She demonstrated grace, strength, and compassion with an unwavering faith in the Lord. In the face of her diagnosis, Sheryl remained steadfast in her faith and was a beacon of hope and inspiration to those around her. She always had to be reminded to take care of herself, as she was always taking care of others.
Throughout her life, Sheryl Lynn Fry was the embodiment of a true friend who cared deeply for those around her. Her selflessness and generosity left its mark on those blessed enough to have experienced it. Sheryl touched the hearts of all of those who had the privilege of knowing her and we thank all those who shared in her journey of life.
Sheryl Lynn Fry is survived by her loving family, including her husband, (MSGT Ret.) Eugene A. Fry; sons, Colten E. Fry and Cullen J. Fry; mother, Johen Thresia (Smith) Coulter; siblings, (CTM1 Ret.) Douglas E. (CTM3 Deidre S.) Coulter, Tracey M Dean; as well as multiple nieces and their families. She is preceded in death by her father, (CTOCS Ret.) Harold. E Coulter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Susan G. Komen or other breast cancer associations and Alzheimer’s associations in Sheryl’s honor.
May Sheryl rest in peace, rejoicing in the arms of our Savior. May she be remembered for the love and joy that she brought into the lives of others and be an encouragement to us all.
