Obituary of Carol Ann Spaccarelli

Carol Ann Spaccarelli, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, March 28, 2024. Carol was born in the Bronx, New York, on September 5, 1943. Carol spent most of her life living with her brother and mother in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. In August 2017, Carol moved to Florida to live with her brother Nicholas, and wife Toni-Lynn.

Even though Carol was born with disabilities, Carol was quite independent. In her early years, Carol held a job in New York City. Furthermore, Carol was a creature of habit and often utilized her love of Soap Operas to tell time and plan out her day. One of the family's fondest memories was the love the Carol shared with her mother, Rosemary and her niece, Lisa, for daily Soap Operas and their predictable storylines. In addition, she was an inspiration for her niece, Laura to become a teacher and work with children with varying disabilities.

Carol is preceded in death by her father, Nicholas Spaccarelli; mother, Rosemary Spaccarelli; sister, Grace; brother, Roy; sisters-in-law, Toni-Lynn Spaccarelli and Laura Velli. Carol is survived by her brother, Nicholas; three adult nieces and nephews, Michael Spaccarelli, Lisa (Erik) Markey and Laura (Christopher) Lopez. In addition, Carol was blessed with four great nieces and nephews, Madelyn Markey (17), Michael Spaccarelli, Jr. (5), James Nicolas Markey (3) and Penelope Rose Lopez (6), who shares the same birthday.

As we say goodbye to our dear Aunt, we take comfort knowing that Carol had a team who supported her from the day she was born until her very last breath.
