Obituary of James W. "Jim" Nowlin Jr.

James W. Nowlin Jr., 79, Passed away February 28, 2024 in Melbourne, Florida.

Jim was born in Williamson, West Virginia on November 17, 1944. He graduated from Melbourne High School in 1962. He joined the Air Force in Jan 1964 where served his country in Vietnam. Jim retired from Harris in December, 2010 after 36 years of employment.

He was a father, an acting grandfather and a loyal friend. Jim was an avid fisherman and a boat and motorcycle enthusiast.

Jim was preceded in death by his Father, James W. Nowlin Sr, his Mother, Louise T.

Nowlin, his Wife Donna K Nowlin and his Sister, Mary Wynn Reynolds.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Nowlin and his long time friend, Cheryl Lamson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care- Melbourne Chapel. Family will greet friends at the funeral home the hour before the service.
