Obituary of Karen Marie Mason

Karen M. Mason, 81, Passed away on February 19th at home in Cocoa Beach surrounded by family. She was born on December 3, 1942 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Robert and Ida Belle Rushin.

Karen met her future husband, James(Doug) Mason as a freshman in high school and they spent the next 67 wonderful years together. He survives along with daughters Jami(Chris) Andre, Joni(Mike) Timmons, sister Sue Prendergast, 5 grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Her parents and brother Dick Rushin preceded her in death

Karen graduated from Chillicothe High School and attended Illinois Central College. She worked at Caterpillar for 27 years last as Project Manager in Human Rescources Department. She will sorely be missed by her family and the many friends accumulated over the years.

 A family celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
