Obituary of Cam Huu Nguyen

Cam Huu Nguyen, 10, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, January 12, 2024.

A memorial will be held on February 24, 2024, at 12 noon at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care 950 Malabar Rd. SE, in Palm Bay, Florida. 

Cam was born June 21, 2013, in Melbourne, Florida, to parents Jessica Casillas and Quang Nguyen. Cam attended Jupiter Elementary School and Westside Elementary School, where he had many wonderful friends and teachers. 

Cam loved going to school and spending time with his friends and family. He was a fantastic big brother and was always teaching his brother, Tai, new things. Often referred to as Little Buccaneer by his father, Cam had a passion for video games. Most days, after homework, he could be found playing a game with his brother and his cousin, Kimora. Cam’s other joy was food. He loved trying new things and learning how to create a meal. 

Cam is survived by his mother, Jessica; stepfather, Israel Casillas: his father, Quang Nguyen; stepmother, Tanya Luis; uncle, Steven (Serena) Mcaloney; aunt, Heather (Victor) Dicrocco; grandmother, Nga Nguyen; great-grandmother, Lucy Mcaloney; grandfather, Mike Ellison and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Cam was preceded in death by his grandmother, Debbie Ellison; grandfathers, Grant Mcaloney and Loi Nguyen and great-grandfather Ronald Mcaloney Jr.
