Obituary of William "Bill" Sheckler

William “Bill” Sheckler, 78, of Rockledge, Florida passed away on Dec 20, 2023 in Rockledge. Bill was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Lula Myrtle (Downey) Sheckler and Arthur Ray Sheckler on September 17, 1945. He went to high school at Taylor High School in Cleves, Ohio. Then went on to serve in the US Navy for 4 years where he served in Vietnam. He worked as an Electrician for 20+ years as well as a Clammer for many years in the Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon. He enjoyed fishing, animals, and his family.

Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years Shayne Sheckler, and his children Pamela Sheckler, Dallas Sheckler, Shirley Potter, and Amber Springer. He is survived by his sister Pat Saupe- Aurora, IN, brother Tom Sheckler- Dillsboro, IN, numerous nieces and nephews as well as 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Lula and Arthur Sheckler, sister Joyce Heiss, as well as his children Angela “Binki” Courter McDaniel, William “Billy” Sheckler, and his infant twins.
