Dawn E. Croshaw, age 94, of Palm Bay, Fl.  passed away on January 3rd, 2024.

She was born on October 19th,1929 in Hartford Connecticut, daughter of Gordon and Elsie Yetman.

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Charles Youells and second husband, Lyman Croshaw, Brother Bruce Yetman, Sister Brenda Eddy and 2 Great Grandchildren Devin Chambers and Isaiah Landaverde.

She is survived by her daughters Brucene Davidson and Janis Youells of Palm Bay, Fl.  Her Stepchildren, Dick Croshaw (Faith) of Jupiter, Fl. and Kathleen Pahule (Richard) of Summerfield, Fl.  6 Grandchildren, 2 Step Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 2 Step Great Grandchildren and 2 Step Great Great Grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Harford Public High School in 1945.  Dawn joined the Women's Army Corps, US Army in 1949 with an Honorable Discharge in 1952.  After 33 years in Civil Service, Dawn retired as a Budget Analyst at Fort Dix, NJ.

As the wife of a US Army Sergeant, she had lived in over 11 states.  She was a member Palm Bay United Methodist Church and most recent First Church Melbourne.  Dawn participated in many organizations including the American Legion Post# 200, Merritt Island, FL, was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star #147, NJ.  She was a volunteer and past President (1992) of Holmes Regional Medical Center Auxiliary as well as being instrumental in the organization of the Palm Bay Community Hospital Volunteer Service.  She had over 10,000 volunteer hours between the 2 hospitals.  Dawn was always supportive of many charities including, National Wildlife and National Park Associations as well as St. Jude and Boys Town.

The Family would like to thank the staff at Palm Bay Community Hospital that helped her through her final days with kindness and care.
