Obituary of Frank Benjamin Helbig, Sr.

Retired U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Frank Benjamin Helbig, Sr., 83, of 4732 Crew Cir APT 4 Melbourne FL, died Monday December 4, 2023, in Holmes Regional Medical Center after a short illness. 

Frank was born in Lynchburg, Va. and had lived in Melbourne since 2002.  He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the Air Force in 1985 after 28 years of military service. 

He is survived by his wife Emma Jean Helbig of Melbourne FL; three son’s Frank B. Helbig Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va.; Larry T. Helbig of Wrightstown, NJ. Christopher L. Helbig of Palm Bay, FL; sister, Miss Fawn E. Helbig of Williamsburg, Va and four grandchildren.  A private family cremation service will be held at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care.
