Obituary of Benjiman A. Prior

Benjiman A. Prior, 71 of Melbourne Beach, FL passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2023.

His family includes his loving wife, Jane Prior; step-daughters, Andrea Gnefkow and Sarah Gnefkow; brother Jan Prior and sister Priscilla “Sue” Long; nephews, Jeffrey Prior and Michael Prior (Emmolee); nieces Jennifer Mullenix and Stacey Vescei; several grand nieces and nephews; many close friends and his best little canine buddy, Sailor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Harley Prior and Betty Rose Prior; sister-in-law Cathy (Jan) Prior; and nephew, Christian Long (Shel).

Ben had many interests but most loved being on the water either boating, fishing or diving with his wife and friends. He had a big personality with a heart to match. He will be deeply missed forever.

There will be a celebration of Ben’s life on December 23, 2023 from 2-5pm at Ben and Jane’s home.
