Obituary of Barbara Joyce Bradley

Barbara Joyce Bradley of Rockledge, Florida, passed away in her home on October 17, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 72. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family members.

Barbara was born on November 21, 1950, in Indianapolis, IN. She attended Manual High School in Indianapolis and worked for Western Electric in Indianapolis for several years before moving to Florida. Her eye for housework led her to start her own cleaning business in Melbourne, Florida. She later married the love of her life, David Bradley, in 1999. For many years, David and Barbara split their time between Romney, Indiana, and Indialantic, Florida. They moved to Florida permanently in 2013 where they loved spending time with their many friends. Some of their favorite memories were hosting their grandchildren at their condo on the beach. Barbara was very close with her siblings, and even though she moved to Florida, she loved talking with them on the phone and visiting them whenever she could. David and Barbara were active members of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, located in Melbourne Beach, Florida.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Burt and Patricia Long, and her husband David Bradley. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her children Christy (Rob) Schroer and Anthony (Nicole) Sardinas; siblings Susan Price, Eric Van Cleave, and Patty Stuart; and her 4 loving grandchildren Nick, Emily, and Jacob Schroer, and Hunter Sardinas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-5 pm on January 27th, 2024, at West Chase Golf Club Pavilion, 4 Hollaway Boulevard, Brownsburg, IN 46112. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Lung Cancer Society.
