Obituary of Martha Worobel

Martha Worobel, age 98, beloved wife of the late John Worobel, died peacefully on October 31, 2023 at Melbourne Regional Medical Center, Hospice Ward, in Melbourne, Florida. She was born in Seymour, CT on August 10, 1925, and was the daughter of Peter and Alexandria Kowal. She was a longtime resident of Seymour and longtime member of Sts. Peter and Paul  Church in Ansonia, CT, before moving to Florida where she lived for the last 45 years. She was then a resident of Melbourne Beach and an active member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She began and ended her working career with the J&M Catering business in Seymour, which she and her husband, John, owned. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey and daughter-in-law Dorie, as well as daughter-in-law, Gina; 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Jesse, Jacob and Amanda, and 5 great grandchildren. She cherished all of them.  In addition to her husband of 50 years, she was predeceased by her son, Jack, and brothers, Andrew, John and Frank.
Funeral services will be provided by Amman Family Cremation and Funeral Care in Melbourne, FL, and a church service will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church in Melbourne Beach, FL on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM. 
A private burial will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Ansonia, CT.
