Obituary of Gregory Michael McDermand

Gregory Michael McDermand, 68, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023.

Greg was born in Springfield, Illinois to Thomas Dale and Geraldine (Brooks) McDermand.

Greg loved playing golf and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He worked as a respiratory therapist his whole life, more recently working with very closely with truck drivers specifically. He was passionate about what he did and took pride in helping others with their health care.

Greg was pre-deceased by his father, Thomas McDermand and his brother Brian McDermand.

He is survived by his sons, Thomas Mcdermand and his wife Tracy and Douglas McDermand; his mother, Geraldine Allen; his youngest brother, Jeffrey McDermand; his grandchildren Addyson, Ayden and Bailey and Several aunts, uncles, neices and nephews and many friends.
