Obituary of Samuel Codomo

Samuel Codomo, 97, passed away on September 1 in Melbourne FL. Sam (Buddy) was born in NJ to John and Grace Codomo. Sam was drafted into the Navy on the day he graduated high school. After his Naval Service, Sam attended Wagner College on Staten Island, NY and then went on to work at Fort Monmouth NJ, working mostly in procurement. Sam moved to Florida in 1980 where he worked as a liaison between Fort Monmouth and Harris in Palm Bay and retired several years later. He enjoyed many rounds of golf both before and after retirement with two hole in ones along the way. For the past 11 years Sam enjoyed life at The Fountains where he had many friends.

Sam is predeceased by his parents, brother John, sister Grace, wife Jane (1981), wife Shirley (2009) and Stepson Steve Lampkin. Sam is survived by his daughters Pam (Bob) Moore, Lora (Rick) Vogel, Stepdaughter Donna (Neal) Cantwell, Stepson Mike Lampkin, Grandchildren Bryan (Gabrielle) Moore, Josh (Christina) Drollette, Kristen (Pastor) Damian, Step grandchildren Ryan (Lauren) Cantwell, Sean (Katie) Cantwell, Megan ( Ryan) Hamel, Arron Lampkin and Sumer Lampkin, great grandchildren-Kylie, Zoey and Riley and step great grandchildren-Sean, Conor, Elias, Ezlyn, Elena, Beckett and Cole.
