My dearest aunt Emily was an inspiration on how to live life to the fullest. She was one of my biggest cheerleaders in life and I miss her terribly. When I was going through a divorce, aunt Emily would have the best one-liners about my ex and could always make me laugh. She was always there for me. Love you forever.

Deepest condolences to the McGowan/Ross family. I grew up next door to the McGowan family in RI and spent many days over her house as I was a friend of her daughter, Margie. We affectionately called Emily "Sis"--she was known by this by all her family--I guess because she was the only girl in the Loxsom family, with 4 brothers. I often heard snippets of her life--I wish now that I had taken notes so I could put her memoir down on paper--it would have made a fantastic book, especially her early life as a child and her life as a young military wife who travelled all over the world with her young boys in tow! We will all miss her, but we can always remember her through our memories of her! Fondly, her sister-in-law, Estelle Loxsom
