Bernice met her future husband in the 3rd grade, and they married in 1954. They ended up settling in Melbourne, Florida, and their family. She first and foremost was a mom. She had endless love for her children and any others she "adopted" along the way.
As her family grew, she became "Nanny" to 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a few extras along the way. She was loved by them all. Her arms and heart were always open.
She was a kind soul, gave unconditional love, taught kindness to all, never met a stranger, could find a forever friend in the line at the grocery store, and touched the heart of all she met.
She was married to the love of her life for 69 years!
Now, she is resting in the arms of Jesus.
