Obituary of Kara Lynn Alexander
Kara Lynn Rebello graced us all with her birth on September 12, 1984. Since that day, she has spread a sparkle of glitter everywhere she went.
Kara’s positivity was completely infectious, leaving a positive impact on so many lives. She always expressed genuine concern for others and wanted nothing but happiness for everyone. She was often quick to offer suggestions to resolve any issue.
Kara was also fierce and fearless, aside from her irrational fear of sharks – not just water-dwelling, but even ghost sharks. But she owned the fear and turned it into a common joke of hers that sharks could be anywhere.
Kara had a passion for helping others and impacted so many lives with her wedding photography business. She shared her love, vision, and art with others on their happiest days. Her passion transitioned over time to mental wellbeing, where she began advocating for minimalism and plant-based veganism. Whenever someone complained about their back hurting or a stubbed toe, she would often joke, “Have you tried a plant-based diet?”
Kara decided to never live to work but instead to work to live. She loved spending her free time reading, gaming, binge-watching, talking with friends, researching, traveling, and experiencing new things.
Sadly, Kara passed away on June 20, 2023, at the age of 38. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Rebello, and is survived by her husband, Michael Alexander, her brothers Chris and Jordan Rebello, and countless loving family and friends.
Rest in peace, our loving wife, sister, daughter, and friend. You will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life for Kara will be held Saturday July 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ammen Family Funeral Home, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, Florida 32901.
