Obituary of Jean Poole

Jean Poole passed into the arms of our Lord suddenly at home on Monday, May 22, 2023.  Jean Poole née Barger was born November 12, 1939, at home in Speers Hill Pennsylvania to parents Phillip and Vivian Barger. It was there as a young girl that she met her lifelong love and companion John (Jack) Poole to whom she has been married for over 65 years.  Jean was devoted to her family, loved sewing, gardening, and animals, and was very active in the Faith Presbyterian Church.  She was a strong and determined woman who exemplified kindness, character, and honesty.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.  May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

Besides her beloved husband Jack, Jean is survived by sons Greg (Lora), David (Dawn), and daughter Cathy Williams (Doug); wonderful grandchildren Paul, Ethan, London, and Delaney; and by her sister Chris Hoffmeyer of Kaufman, Texas; and brother Tommy Barger of Dallas, Texas.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Faith Presbyterian Church, in Merritt Island on Saturday, May 27.
