Frederick Joseph Fischer III of Palm Bay Florida earned his wings and went home to be with the lord on May 6th, 2023. He passed away peacefully of natural causes in his home, he was 64.
He was born in Harrisburg, PA., and moved around much of his life settling in Palm Bay in 1991.
Fred was preceded in death by his loving parents Frederick J. Fischer Jr. and Sophie A. Fischer. He leaves behind a brother Stephen J. Fischer and his wife Roseanna, and a sister Linda M. Ecton and her husband Richard. Several nephews and nieces, Shane M. Ecton, Jason R. Ecton and his wife Mary, Shaun J. Fischer, Steven J. Fischer, Sonny J. Fischer, Shannon J. Walters her husband Aaron and Jamey L. Fischer. He also leaves 5 great-nephews and 1 great niece.
To his family, he was only known as Buddy, and to his friends Fred, Little Fred, or Brother.
He had one of the kindest hearts you could ever meet. Truly a fun-loving man with such emotion and a true passion for life. Looking into his bright blue eyes you could see they were filled with sincerity and love.
He never left a gathering of friends or loved ones without saying “I love you”.
He struggled many years with health issues and pain, and yet managed to work hard trying to make ends meet. His faith in God was strong and he would often say “The good lord has my back, and when I need him, he always provides for me”.
Although Fred sometimes made bad choices, he made up for them in other ways like opening his home to strangers or anyone who needed a place to stay. He believed with the lord on his side he could help in giving them a chance for a better life. He was always willing to lend a helping hand especially when it was his carpentry or his handyman skills.
He loved his pets which included 5 pugs and 2 cats that he called his babies. Although he never had any children of his own, there are several who call him dad.
His passions were family, pets, fishing, playing cards, and traveling to his cabin in PA. with all his animals in tow.
He touched many lives and found such happiness in the joy of others.
His faith and kindness have surely earned him a wonderful place in heaven. He will be missed and remembered forever in the hearts of those lucky enough to have been a part of his life.
May he find peace and happiness in the hands of our lord.
